So far, no mention was made of the sky, gradually turning its colour into sulphurous-yellowish grey, accompanied by an increasing wind, transporting grains of sand. People seemed to be used to this kind of weather in Rajasthan.

Nevertheless, they started moving towards their means of transportation, bidding farewell.

When some heavier gusts of wind came up, the movements towards the exit became hastier.

It was amazing, how fast the place had emptied. Now, wind and grains of sand were masters of ceremonies.

In a very short time, the sand had conquered back the area, where days where spent to remove it.

People rushed to the busses which immediately were filled with passengers.

Then they started for return with occupants happy to have found shelter. The air seemed to stand still for a little while.

Brimming with cooking and other facilities, cars, vans, and all kinds of carts also started to their way home.

Then we could see, why everybody immediately was in a hurry. The air was darkened by grains of sand, dispersed by the wind.

Still unfortified objects had to be removed in a hurry...

Half an hour later, the campus birds where the only ones outside...
